May 2023, the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Counterterrorism and Weapons of Mass Destruction, supported by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, SIBCRA Pro, and the Dutch CBRN Defence Training Centre (DCBRNC), conducted a comprehensive training session in Vught, Netherlands. This initiative was part of an ongoing effort to enhance global readiness against chemical and biological terrorism threats.

Law enforcement, security forces, and first responders from Nigeria participated in this rigorous program, which included numerous field exercises designed to simulate real-life terrorism scenarios involving chemical and biological weapons. These exercises aimed to strengthen anti-terrorism response capabilities, control chains, and decontamination procedures.

This training is a critical step in bolstering global capacities to counteract terrorism threats involving weapons of mass destruction. Through collaborations with our Nigerian and American partners, SIBCRA Pro is dedicated to enhancing the world's safety and preparedness against such devastating weapons.
